The game rules

You play Deskwords on the board 10×10 or 8×8.

The purpose of the game is how to form a word as much as possible from the randomized letters on the desk with as few movements as possible.

The letters can be randomly distributed on the board, or with the scheme which has been agreed before.

The board must be filled fully by the letters.

In Deskwords, you can choose to play alone or with an opponent.

Gameplay

The early stage of the game is choosing the position of each player, by placing the camp of each player on any square of the desk. The blue player has to choose the position first.

The players make their moves in turns and the amount of the moves made will be noted.

It is prohibited to offer a draw in this game, but the players may resign from the game any time.

Scoring

The winner of this game is that one who is able to form the most words, from the letters that he/she has collected. If both players collected the same amount of words, then the winner will be the one who made the least amount of moves when collecting the letters. But, if all of those qualifications result in a draw, the game will be considered as a draw.

In the case of after 10 turns neither of the players could collect any letter, then the game is considered over and the qualification will be from the amount of the letters collected by the players.

The regulations for the movement of each character on the board

5 pieces are available for each player.

Each player may have maximum 5 pieces on the desk (including camps and characters).

The players may put one new character on any square around their camps per one turn.

After his landing on any empty square or taking a letter from the desk the gryphon has to come back and land on any empty square around the camp, which belong to the owner of the gryphon.

 Panther

The movement of the panther is limited only to diagonal movements, but may reach the destination as far as possible. Only the panther can pass any kind of obstacles on the desk, such as other characters and camps.

Elephant

The elephant may move vertically and horizontally as far as possible.

Horse

The horse moves one square in any direction (vertical, horizontal or diagonal) like the king in chess. The horse can move 2 squares in any direction around your camp.

Camp.

The camp plays its role as a foundation in the early stage of Deskwords.

The players may collect 4 words in one time.

NOTE.
